Giants lose to Cowboys, 33-10, in Cotton Candy Skies

SAN FRANCISCO — Giants quarterback Eli Manning didn’t make a throw or throw an interception on his first drive, but the Giants lost 33-8 to the Cowboys on Sunday night in Cotton Candy Skies.

Eli Manning threw for 153 yards, including a 2-yard touchdown run with about six minutes left in the game.

The Giants’ second-year quarterback threw two touchdown passes and had two interceptions.

The game-winning drive ended with a Giants field goal that gave the Giants a 24-20 lead.

The Cowboys were in control after Eli Manning’s 1-yard scoring run in the second quarter and the first of their two touchdown drives.

The second touchdown came on third down with about four minutes left, when Dallas cornerback Sean Lee ran into Manning and the quarterback, then took a knee.

The pass fell incomplete on fourth-and-goal from the 1.

It was the second interception in as many games for Manning this season.

The first came when Manning threw a touchdown pass to Brandon Marshall in the first quarter.

Eli also threw a 2nd-and 2 pass in the fourth quarter that was intercepted by Cowboys cornerback Josh Norman.

Eli threw the first interception of the game in the third quarter.

The third interception came when Eli hit Brandon Marshall on a 4-yard pass from Eli to Lee in the left corner of the end zone.

Eli hit Lee on a 5-yard throw from the left side in the endzone for the score.

The fourth touchdown came after Manning ran for a touchdown on third-and 10 from the Cowboys 34-yard line.

Eli was 7-of-11 passing for 88 yards, with two interceptions and a fumble.

The Jets’ offense had seven first downs.

The Bears had four first downs on their first two possessions, including two touchdowns by tight end Zach Miller and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.

The offense was out of the red zone and the Bears had a touchdown when the ball was snapped at the Giants 15.

Eli had one first down on third and eight when he hit Jeffery on a 6-yard run.

Eli made the interception on fourth down when he ran for 4 yards and caught a pass on third.

Eli didn’t get the start for the Giants, who were 0-4 against the Bears in their last five meetings.

Eli has three touchdown passes against the Giants.

Eli’s first interception came on a 1-point conversion that was tipped on a fumble by Cowboys defensive back Anthony Brown.

Eli then threw an interception in the opening quarter when he went for a 5 and ran for 6 yards.

Eli completed 10 of 13 passes for 121 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Eli went 16-of.

32 passing for 193 yards and one touchdown and added a 79-yard punt return for a TD.

Eli led the Giants to their first four-game winning streak since a nine-game streak in 2012.

Eli hasn’t thrown for 300 yards in a game since throwing for 259 yards and a TD against the Eagles in Week 4.

Eli wasn’t sacked in the Cowboys’ victory.
